Above: Photo contributed by Syed Sagoff. He was with the Police Academy. On this day, he underwent training at the FIBUA village at Lim Chu Kang. They also went to SAFTI and underwent some basic military training but did not have the chance to undergo the training to throw a grenade.

Above: Photo contributed by Syed Sagoff. This was the Police Guard of Honour Contingent at Year 1978 National Day Parade. This was mostly made up of OCTs from the Third Bank Batch of PNSF Officer intake.

Above: Photo contributed by Syed Sagoff (Centre row, fifth from right). He attended the Officer Cadets course at the Police Academy Squad OCT 3 of the Third Bank Batch of PNSF Officer intakes. This was 1 of 3 squads for the 3rd batch of OCTs. In this photo were Jung Meng, Roland Foo, Abu Bakar from R1 1972/1977 cohort. They were enlisted with the 11th intake and passed out with the 13th intake as we underwent 9 months of training compared to the SCs who was under training for only 3 months. Thereafter, Sagoff was posted to Joo Chiat Police Station also known as 'G' Division.
