Abdul Razak wrote a book “Indian Muslims in Singapore”. It was 3 years of labour of love that produced the book. According to Razak, each copy is on sale on the market for $60.

I asked him if he is willing to donate a copy to Raffles Museum & Archives. We agreed to meet where he will hand me the book to make the delivery.

Razak and myself met up with Dhanaraj on 14 July 2022 at Kovan Hawker Centre at 12 noon. We had lunch and I took possession of the book.

I suggested to Razak if we could approach either Raffles Museum & Archives, RIMA or AMP Singapore to persuade President Halimah to endorse a few words attention to younger Rafflesians on the book inside cover.

I eventually got a reply from Raffles Museum & Archives

Razak also checked with AMP. He told me on their reply

Finally, Razak decided to donate his book to RI Library. Raffles Museum & Archives was kind enough to tell us as to who to approach.

We decided to meet again on 13 September 2022 at Muslim Delight, near Razak’s office, for lunch. After lunch, Razak drove us to RI Library at Bishan. Here are the photos of him at RI Library.
